Arbitrability of Promotional Test Grievance Won

We were notified yesterday of the resolution to the hearing we attended last month to address the Town's challenge of the validity of our grievance over the Sergeant's oral board exam. The panel of three arbitrators unanimously sided with the Union that the case is arbitrable and must be heard. The fact that even the Town's arbitrator sided with the Union demonstrates how ridiculous the challenge was to begin with.

This is not a decision on the merits of the case, it simply means that the case can proceed to a "step 3" hearing where a decision one way or the other will be issued. Concurrently we also have our MPP filing to try and get the associated documents working it's way through a separate process which will need to be resolved before we can have the step 3, we're still waiting for that decision to come down.

OK Nestor, by hard work are you referring to all the "tutoring" you did in South Windsor while on duty?

Go ahead and keep attacking him like the cowards that you are! He is the only one who isn’t afraid to stick up for those that get bullied by this union and has no problem pointing out how these supervisors file false complaints against employees and lie and get away with it. He should be a deputy chief here I guarantee none of the bullying and discrimination would continue to happen and those responsible for it would be dealt with. They are jealous that he was a real cop working for a real agency making real arrests and most that start rumors about him haven’t done a damn thing!

The only thing he's sticking up for them with is his dick. Can't wait until his wife finds out and takes his Hartford pension in the divorce.

Your not serious right? A real agency you mean the agency across the river thats been under a federal consent decree for 5 decades and whose leadership has kept working conditions for patrol under staffed and underequipped? It's strange that those same problems exist at our agency under the current admin. I guess that they are using what they learned over in Hartford to run our place into the ground.

You will see next election when this union is voted out on their asses and replaced by those who actually will change the culture of this department for the better. You bullied the last candidate but he’s not going away that easy nor are the ones who are united with him against the frauds in their now that stole it last election. The days are numbered so don’t get to comfortable in your positions!

You should try running yourself next time instead of getting someone to do it for you. Are you scared of the embarrassment you'll face when you get 2 votes?
